After graduating from college, Taylor Wright completed a Baking and Pastry degree at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Later she received a Pastry Certificate from Espai Sucre in Barcelona, Spain. She has worked as a pastry chef at high-end restaurants in NYC, Barcelona, and Australia. She and her sister, Haywood, bought the Avocado Cafe in June 2014. Taylor handles the day-to-day operation of the cafe.
Haywood Wright received a B.A. from Yale and has taken extra coursework in accounting and entrepreneurship at Orange Coast College. She and her sister, Taylor, bought the Avocado Cafe in Irvine in June 2014. Haywood handles the deliveries, the books, and the marketing.
